Darin 00:00:00.215 Hey everybody, this is Darin. I know it's been a few months since we've put anything out. Victor's not with me today. I just wanna go ahead and give you a reasonably quick update of what's been going on and. When the show's gonna start coming back out again. Uh, if you don't wanna listen to the end, this is gonna be a short episode and I would ask that you listen if you don't mind. Uh. The new episodes, new fuel episodes will start coming out on July 9th, 2025 in case you're listening in the future or past, whatever. So that episode will be number 3 0 6. Uh, fortunately we've had some episodes already prerecorded that just weren't edited yet. Otherwise they would've already come out. But what happened? So some of you may know, some of you may not. On March 19th, 2025, my wife, Valerie, of almost 36 years, passed away. I told myself I wasn't gonna cry. And I'm not editing today either. So this, what you get is, is raw and real. Um, she had gone into the hospital towards the end of February, um, ended up having to have emergency surgery and a few weeks later passed away due to complications from the surgery. And since March 19th, it's been a mix of sleeping, not sleeping, trying to figure out what life is I, and as I'm recording this, on Thursday, June 12th, 2025. Uh. I'm doing better. It's been almost three months since she passed, and that's just sort of where it's at, trying to figure out what's next. So to all the guests that sort of got pushed to the back, thank you for. Your grace for not putting a lot of pressure to make sure it got out. I thank that. I wanna thank Viktor for, uh, putting up with me. Um, I was fortunate I was able to see him and Whitney actually, uh, a few weeks ago down in Austin for a KCD Texas, which was pretty cool. It was my first trip out of the house. And, uh, it was, it was good seeing people, good being around people and being around the community. So, to Viktor, uh, especially. Thank you Whitney. Thank you, um, to everybody else. Oh, I can't, I can't leave the KCD without, I finally got to meet GaN in, in real life, if you've been around on Fridays, GaN is is always on there. Um, GaN it was good seeing you. Okay, so we're about three minutes in. I'll go ahead and wrap this up. I do want to say down in the episode description, I've got a link off to v's. Obituary to the celebration of life that we did, and also a link off to a nonprofit. That Val and I have been supporting for a number of years called Father's House. If you've ever thought about buying me and Viktor a pizza, if you go out to the website, you'll see a buy us a pizza in the upper end corner. If you ever thought about doing that, don't go to the link down in this description. And give what you can to a father's house. I, I know the founders, I know the money goes to where it, where they say it goes, no questions asked. So if you've made it this far, thank you again. I'd encourage you if you can donate to father's house. We would appreciate it and we will see you with regular episodes again starting on July 9th, 2025. Thanks for listening.
