#185: You’ve been told that you have to reduce your AWS bill. You also know that you cannot make any major changes to your infrastructure quickly. By carefully considering your needs and being willing to make some concessions, you can reduce your AWS bill significantly. But where do you start?
In this episode, we talk with Ganesh The Awesome from GlobalDots about where to start when trying to reduce your AWS bill.
Ganesh has over 16 years experience in IT. He was born in the fires of the IT service desk, where he learnt the industry from the ground up. Since then he’s worked as a 1st, 2nd and 3rd line technician, before moving into technical operations management and solutions architecture. Now working with a wide range of cloud-based technologies we’re pretty sure he can solve any problems you throw at him.
Viktor Farcic is a member of the Google Developer Experts and Docker Captains groups, and published author.
His big passions are DevOps, Containers, Kubernetes, Microservices, Continuous Integration, Delivery and Deployment (CI/CD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
He often speaks at community gatherings and conferences (latest can be found here).
His random thoughts and tutorials can be found in his blog TechnologyConversations.com.
